A Tribute to Fall

I absolutely love the fall, even if I am here in Buckeye, where the leaves don't really fall off of the trees. Fall is still an archway into cooler, more beautiful weather. Even when it drops to 85 or so, I start thinking about sweaters, hot chocolate and cozy-ness. It makes me happy to see people decorating their houses with orange and yellow scarecrows and fall wreaths (even if they are hanging them on cactuses...) And if you live here long enough, you really are cold at 70 degrees and can justify wearing a jacket and a scarf (no really!) Ha ha.

Just to get in the fall mood, I thought I would include some of my favorite fall pictures. These were taken a couple of years ago, in New York. My goal this year is to try and take some really good Arizona fall pictures...

I miss the seasons so much! If you find some examples of fall here in AZ, let us know, we will have to make a pilgrimage!

Wow! I didn't know fall could look like that! (I've been in the desert my whole life)
